Mr. Kobus Haumann is a qualified Geohydrologist (groundwater) Specialist. During his postgraduate studies in Geohydrology at the University of the Free State, he worked for a period of four years as a part-time Geohydrologist at numerous environmental, geohydrological and engineering companies (Golder Associates, GCS Water and Environmental Consultants, Tucana Solutions, Landbreeze 647, Thaba Nchu Drilling, CGS, SGS, IGS, Enviroworks and Terraworks).

During this time he was responsible for all related Geohydrological studies, including Hydrocensus, a compilation of Hydrological and Hydrogeological reports for Environmental Impact Assessment purposes, Geophysical Investigations, Monitoring, Borehole siting, and Modelling & Analysis.

This allowed Kobus to gain substantial local and international experience in the Geohydrologcial field. Since then Kobus has gained more than four years of post-graduate experience allowing him to finalize all required professional registrations.

During 2017, Kobus joined the Eco-Con Environmental team as their Geohydrological Specialist where he is responsible for all Groundwater studies, including Geophysical survey & Interpolations; Borehole siting; Borehole drilling; Hydraulic testing; and Modelling & Analysis. Kobus is also currently enrolled for his PhD (Doctoral Degree) with specialization in Geohydrology.
